Gary H. Reu

Gary H. Reu, age 49, a resident of Warrenville, died Tuesday, July 25, at home. He was born September 26, 1956 in Hinsdale.

Gary was involved in a number of deaf ministries, including Calvary Deaf Assembly in Melrose Park where he served on the Board for more than 20 years. He also served in the Midwest Deaf Men's Ministry and was known by all as a willing servant of God. Gary never knew how to say "No". His greatest joy was ministering to the needs of others. He worked as a machinist for Spraying System Company for 28 years. He attended the Illinois School for the Deaf in Jacksonville, IL. He attended Waubonsie Community College for two years.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Barbara; his children, John Falk of Warrenville, and Deborah Falk of Oswego; four beautiful grandchildren, Justin, Brianna, Jaslyn, and Blake; his parents, Harold and Gladys Reu of Darien; brother, Alan (Peggy) Reu of Carol Stream; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, from 4-9 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 29, at 10:00 A.M. at Wheaton Bible Church, Main and Franklin Streets, in Wheaton. Interment is private.

Instead of giving flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the Calvary Deaf Assembly, 1142 West 78th Street, Chicago, IL 60620.
